No: Having your period or not will have no effect on duration of your kidney infection. Much more likely for kidney infection to affect the timing or duration of a period. Most kidney infections treated with 10-14 days of antibiotics. Duration of symptoms variable depending on infection severity but not uncommon to take a while to get your energy level back and feeling 100% again. Monitor for relapse.

You : You should call your doctor and discuss your symptoms and see how soon you can be seen.  If you are having fever, chills, severe back pain, nausea or vomiting, you may need to proceed to the emergency room if your doctor cannot see you within the next few hours.

It also depends on how sensitive the infection is to the antibiotics and how soon you start the antibiotics.  The faster it gets treated or the milder the infection, the faster the pain goes away.

Prolonged recovery from uncomplicated kidney infection suggests ur on wrong antibiotic.

May be related: Kidney stones can block the flow of urine from your kidneys to your bladder . When this happens, the urine that backs up is more likely to become infected. This may have been the cause of  your bladder infection but the two events may be unrelated. Please mention this to your doctor. Based on the rest of your exam, the left kidney may need to be evaluated to make sure that it is working properly.

2 days: In general, once you get treated it can take 2-3 days to start feeling a lot better.  It's possible that you could still have some nausea and vomiting but if you are getting treatment but still vomiting, you may need to get IV fluids and IV antibiotics at the hospital.

will keflex help sinusitis? i'm currently on it for kidney infection but i've been getting symptoms of sinus the last couple of days?

: Most of the time you do not need antibiotic for sinusitis. If you truly have bacterial sinusitis, keflex may be effective with some bacteria, not all. Good luck.
