Normal: Once a woman stops birth control the chance of getting pregnant is about 15-20% per cycle. 80% of women are pregnant by one year. So it's normal to not be pregnant yet 5 months after stopping birth control. You are most fertile 14 days before the next period is due.

: Assuming she has been using the Nuvaring consistently and correctly for the first year, the effective rate of preventing pregnancy is 99.3%. However, with typical use, the efficacy is 93%

Quite Unlikeiy: If the question means the night before the NuvaRing is to be removed and start menses, then it would be unlikely to conceive, since the NuvaRing is an effective method of birth control and does not need backup.  Protected sex with a NuvaRing is recommended to reduce the risk of contracting a sexxually transmitted disease.

Possibly: There is enough hormonal reserve in the NuvaRing to last about 30 days instead of the 21 that you wold use  it for as directed.  However, when you take it out, hormone levels return to normal quickly and you are at risk for pregnancy.

Nuvaring : Nuvaring is designed to be in place for 3 weeks, then 1 ring free week. You do not need a back up method during the ring free week. Just resume the ring on the date you were supposed to re-insert it. If you have been using this as directed, then a back up method was not necessary during your ring free week. However if you miss your period, take a pregnancy test. The pregnancy hormone can be detected in the system 14 days after conception.

Maybe/not: The ring, like the pill, prevents pregnancy by providing hormones in your blood that prevent egg release. After the ring has been out for a few days your system re-sets to its baseline fertility. That said, the cited average wait for a desired pregnancy is 6 mo with a range of weeks to a year.
