where can i get a prescripiion for oxycontin? i am a t 10 para, 20+ yrs. post injury. i have had the pain since day one (20+ yrs.).  i have been taking oxycontin for 10+ years.  i also take nurontin and klosapam.  they call it disastiesia or fantom pain.

If : If your surgeon is no longer comfortable writing your pain medication prescriptions, you should ask for a referral to a pain management specialist.  A pain specialist is a doctor who has specialized in either anesthesia, neurology or psychiatry and has concentrated their studies on the management of acute and chronic pain. Call your primary care doctor or your surgeon for a referral to someone they know and trust. A pain doctor will know how to navigate making you as comfortable as possible while minimizing side effects.

taking 30 mirtazapine upped from 15 last week. have severe anxiety still w palpitations .can i take klonapin with mirtaz and how much? i have prescription for it. but md not answering my calls

Meds: Don't add or adjust any meds without the advise of  a physician. Persistent palpitations in patients on antidepressants require  urgent evaluation.  Seek medical attention.

what is sunglass lenses that attach to prescription glasses called?

Different options: There are a few different options for a sunglass tint added to your existing glasses.  The most common are "clip-ons" which are usually magnetic attachments in the same shape as your frame you can put on outside.  Also there are newer transitions lenses that are photochromic and will darken depending on the uv radiation from sunlight.  See your optician for all the options.

Prefer in person.: Very rarely is it appropriate to prescribe a new medication by phone. Keep in mind that in order to recommend a treatment plan, physicians have the obligation to evaluate (by asking questions and examining) the problem, make a diagnosis and then recommend a medication. This is almost impossible to do by phone, no matter how simple it may seem.
