Depends on details: Each person with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of the food and poop through the gut, some things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber-with-water, Miralax (polyethylene glycol), Senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, other laxatives... A daily enema usually may be done for 1-3 days if needed.

: It is best to take the fleets for an empty rectum improves the quality of the MRI study. Also you should have been given a set of instructions by the facility doing it. Pl follow that. The duration will depend on the technique and operator. Pl set aside at least an hour -tho the procedure does not take that much time.
