Trying to miscarry?: Abortion medicine is by prescription, so a woman goes to her Ob-Gyn doctor (or a women's clinic) to be evaluated for it. Whether or not medicine can be used also depends on the age of the baby fetus (the number of weeks pregnant). The doctor will talk with the patient to be sure that the patient is making a good permanent decision, because abortion is a hard decision for any woman to make.

Black cohosh: There is not enough scientific data that black cohosh is safe  for periods in teenagers.  No studies have looked at black cohosh in people under 18.  Black cohosh contains a small amount of salicylic acid so it should be avoided in those allergic to aspirin. Also black cohosh  should be avoided if there is a history of liver disease, genetic blood clotting disorder,  endometriosis or fibroids.

Yes, depending . . .: . . . On what other medicines you're taking and medical conditions you have.  Please consult your physician first.  But in research tests black cohosh (actaea racemosa) has been found to be safe in doses between 40-80 mg/day, for 6 months.  The tablets should be standardized to contain 1 mg of 27-deoxyactein.
