If your periods are mostly regular you could wait for the next one, or can be evaluated by a gynecologist anytime.

This is either conscious for secondary gain or unconscious in some psychological or psychiatric way.

Progesterone for infertility treatment gives you pregnancy symptoms - bloating, weight gain, breast tenderness.

Either one depending: Hcg injection stays in the body for an average of 10 days.  Checking a pregnancy test prior to that time can give a false positive, while checking much after 10 days is usually due to pregnancy if the test is positive.  I hope this helps!
