Depends on cause...: There are lots of reasons for abdominal bloating ; many are not due to the GI tract. Bowel "problems" often accompany GI disorders--whether functional or "organic." if pain with meals consider peptic (acid), biliary, pancreatic disease, maldigestion/
malabsorption, sibo. If bleeding or tenderness is present, this suggests inflammation, ischemia, or infection ; certainly warrants evaluation.

Zevia: Zevia is a sparkling water product containing carbon dioxide and can cause stomach bloating. However this gas buildup normally passes down the intestinal tract within a couple of hours or so. If you have prolonged and uncomfortable abdominal bloating you should be examined by a physician to rule out intestinal obstruction.

Sometimes I wonder: What is this? Really?  You ate more calories than usual, which probably means more sugars or carbs then usual, which puts a strain on your pancreas and blood sugars.  Your GI tract has to digest all of this extra food, and then it has to move through you and become stool.  It sounds like your body is doing what it is supposed to do.  Right?
