Effects of NyQuil: The half-life of doxylamine (the time it takes for your body to get rid of half of the drug) is 6-12 hours.  The vast majority should be gone within about 24 hours.

Side effects of Nyquil are-Drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, upset stomach, nervousness. Sometimes side effects may be shakiness, and confusion.
There is more risk as Alcohol has some of these effects.
Taking 3 mixed drinks within 2 hours is Dependence problem

Sleep medicines: Fllow the directions carefully.  If you are not comfortable with the effect of nyquill zzz, then try a natural substance called melatonin.  Its what yur brain uses to regulate your biological clock.  In addition, try to keep to a consistant schedule of going to bed at a specific time.  No caffeine after lunch.  Turn off computer and tv about 1 hour before you get into bed.Try warmmilk before bed.

: A virus can explain this entire set of symptoms. It may take time for your body to clear the virus, by using your natural immune system. Sometimes people have the flu  or COVID 19 (which is a virus)  and don't have a fever, especially if they never have a fever. Can this be an atypical flu?  You can speak to a doctor via telemedicine. Keep isolated

Yes: Melatonin works well for insomnia some time to do some 6 mg as needed sometimes it becomes less effective overtime

Symptoms: Are there any symptoms to report to us? You must be specific here.  Putting rubbing alcohol in something another human is going to drink is assault or even attempted murder. Your boyfriend must also contact the proper authorities.  This was a crime.

: Nyquil contains ingredient which has antihistamine activity so you can skip Allegra dose next morning, especially if you feel drowsy. However, there is no serious interaction between these two drugs.

No issue: As long as they are only looking for illegal drugs. Nyquil should not show up on any normal urine panels and is legal. Unless you have had a problem abusing it in the past, then you should not have anything to worry about.

Rx for adrenal?: Hi. Please tell us what the prescription for your adrenal is, and what adrenal condition is being treated. However, in general, sedating antihistamines do not adversely interact with any medicines I can think of used to treat a host of adrenal conditions.

NyQuil: in some people it has a stimulating effect and won't matter if you take melatonin. Look OTC at cold drugs that can be taken at night that don't have pseudoephedrine or alcohol in it
