Depends: Depends on your personal schedule in which you can plan bathroom time. I generally recommend a different class of laxative such as Miralax.

Half life 16hr: This bowel stimulant medication is metabolized in the body and roughly 1/2 is gone @ 16hrs with 1/2 the remaining med gone after another 16hr. The diarrhea effect is a listed side effect & varies per individual. As the medication level drops the stimulant effect will diminish. Some bulking food items like bananas, apples or pasta may help slow the diarrhea naturally.

Yes: yes, the effect of taking one Dulcolax tablets usually does not last longer than one day. You should be fine. If you are still having frequent bowel movements by that time, it is probably not the Dulcolax that is causing it.  Good luck.

Stool: My concern here is why take a strong laxative at night,then a anti-motility the next morning. This a setup for chronic issues. If it is a chronic problem,see your primary care doctor for assistance.
