i have a stye on my left eye and its lasted for months, what do i do?

Depends: You may not have a stye!  it may be a different problem called a chalazion.  Stye is usually caused by an inflammed hair follicle along the eye lid due to a bacteria.  They are very painful, usually point and will go away fairly promptly with proper treatment.  A chalazion may remain for many weeks and may have to be surgically removed.  If concerned, see eye doctor very soon.

STYE OR HORDEOLUM: Opthalmic  antibiotic ointment applied at least twice a day for 10 days will take care of the infection.

i work on building site and get dust in me eyes all day and for last through years i get stye like lumps at end of my eye kids will it be the dust .

Ocular irritation: The type of climate you work in does predispose you to ocular irritation. Usually when something gets into the eye, like dust, your reaction is to rub the eyes which can cause irritation, contamination, damage to the delicate oil gland orifices or channels that may cause styes. Use protective eyewear to help reduce the exposure. Use lubrication eye drops or eye rinses if something gets in your eye.

6 years old daughter has stye on both eyes for close to 3 months now. warm compresses help but it comes back again and again . this time it has come back worse than before. how long can it last? what else can be done?

Usually 1 week.: After checking with your PCP, I would suggest that she needs to avoid touching her eyelid.  She should avoid putting aby lotions or eyelid solutions on the eyelids.  Unfortunately she may have to have a surgical procedure.

aside from surgery is there other medical treatment for stye and chalzion. because my eye inflammation last for 3 months and did'nt cure when putting ointment. and i am so scared to have a surgery, is there other medical treatment for chalzion or stye

Warm : Warm commpresses and lid massage can help, but the use of a tetracycline antibiotic can sometimes help as well--talk to your ophthamologist about this.  If you do need to have it excised, your doctor will completely numb it first and it is usually done from the inner side of the lid--you should not feel a thing and there will be no visible scar.

i had sty in right eye wied stye out and put hand sanitizer in it even tryed to pop it and its been longer then a month and the and the bump small still ther don't hurt but still there why is bump still there and why wont go away it was a stye.

The : The worst thing you could do is put a hand sanitizer near your eye, as well as try and "pop" the stye.  For proper treatment of chronic/recurrent styes, you need to see your eye care professional.

Blocked glands: You likely have a skin condition which is leading to blockages of the glands in the eyelids (blepharitis). These blockages lead to the styes that you see.  An ophthalmologist would be able to tell you if your eyelids have any tendency toward getting these styes, and offer you specific suggestions. Some people benefit from chronic lid hygeine or even oral medicines to prevent chronic styes.
