Check Every 1-2 Wks: You want to know when the piercing is healed enough to go without earrings. Most earlobe piercing kits suggest waiting 6 weeks before removing starter earrings. It is possible for the hole to close even after having the piercing for several years however older piercings are less likely to close. I suggest that you check your piercing every 1-2 wks if you are not wearing earrings.

Yes: An uninfected piercing will form a fistula & heal more quickly then an infected piercing site. If you have an infection - please seek medical treatment.

Antiseptic: Cleanse with peroxide diluted 1:1 with water, followed by isopropyl alcohol, then Bacitracin antibiotic ointment 3 x daily.  Important especially after showering. Tragal cartilage infections can be a problem so best to avoid with meticulous care.

That's possible.: If you previously wore earrings long enough for the initial piercings to have scarred up and healed, they could have become permanent.

Cracks: The most common thing we see w mouth piercings is cracked or fractured teeth.

Obliterated may be: along keloid formation. most likely you did not use it.  you did not use it. Let your doctor see it if you keloid along with  Usual still will have a tract to insert ear rind.
