Insomnia: The only withdrawal you usually see from zolpidem is insomnia.  If the insomnia was long term before you started the zolpidem, it may continue after you stop taking the medication.  There should be no other side effects or withdrawal symptoms, but you may still find yourself needing something to help you sleep

can a person take loratab 10/325 for break through pain along with fentanyl patch. i have withdrawals and want something that last longer for pain.

Pain Medication: Without any intended judgement it sounds like you may be using your medication inappropriately and could be an addict.  Lortab is not a long lasting medication.  Fentanyl is a long lasting medication. Have you ever been to a treatment program to help you get off these medications and truly see what your body is like narcotic free?

anytime i get sick i may loose my voice and lose ability to speak. my last up to a month or longer last time was 2 months. any suggestions ?

Laryngitis?: Although laryngitis or voice abuse at football games can lead to loss of voice, it would be best to get a referral to an ENT physician who can examine your vocal cords and tell your oncology/hematology physician. 2 months is too long. Could have vocal cord nodules or partial paralysis, even. Please do not ignore these symptoms.

why does a long half-life mean a long withdrawal? xanax (alprazolam) and oxycodone have short hls but w/d can last months. why would suboxone. be longer?

Time Dependency: Narcotic withdrawal times and severity are complex phenomena and not easy to summarize. The time it takes the body to get rid of narcotics (half-lives) may have far more to do with length and severity of dependence, malnutrition, sleep deprivation and kidney and liver function than the pharmacokinetic profile of the drug.  Please speak with your pain management specialist for specific advice.

Opiate withdrawal: Day six congratulations! The mental part will be the worst for you: sadness, depression, craving and anxiety.  It can take some time before everything returns to normal, but everyone is different. Try getting an extra support form the AA meetings or from your doctor. Take care.
