Nearly impossible: but I don't know what you mean by contaminated surface. Nonetheless it is unlikely that you can contract HIV in this manner.

Rather easy : As easy or hard as having an unprotected sexual encounter or sharing needles with an HIV positive person. Good prevention makes it hard, life and ignoring the risk make it easy to get infected.

Skin: The penis is covered with skin, which can't be infected if it's intact. The woman's vagina is composed of mucous membrane, which can be infected.  The risk of female to male transmission is higher in uncircumcised men or men with genital ulcer disease, such as herpes or syphilis.

: HIV is transmitted through broken skin, open wounds, but mostly through mucosal membranes which is not what above scenario describes. HIV does not survive on inanimate surfaces. A reliable site is cdc.gov in clarifying HIV transmission.

Misunderstanding?: One does not get HIV by bleeding. Nor does one get infections like HIV from paper or other inanimate objects. One gets infected through direct exposure to semen or blood during intimate sexual or drug-use experiences. Not from getting a paper cut.

Use protection: The risk is low but real. A majority of infected husbands having unprotected sex do not infect their wives. However, even a low risk is more than you want, especially in an era when a man's not even a gentleman if he doesn't put on a condom without being asked. You're risking pregnancy, other sexually transmitted diseases (herpes is for a lifetime), and unwanted friends. Love wisely.

HIV care: There are quite a number of good medications available  for HIV treatment. Resistance to Atripla is not unheard of, so do not despair.  Best if you see an ID doctor who can figure out the best options for you. There is an injectable HIV medication but that's reserved for the absolute last resort. Plus there are clinical trials which are always looking for subjects if you need to take that route.

Stress? Anxiety?: At this point, I doubt the PEP drugs are directly responsible. But it doesn't sound serious, i.e. not a new HIV infection. I would be suspicious of anxiety or stress over your potential exposure to HIV and its implications. I's impossible to be certain from this distance. Discuss it with the dlinic or doctor where PEP was prescribed, or your personal health care provider. Good luck!
