I;D: The mainstay of treatment of boil is incision and drainage and antibiotics. The reason we drain is that it is hard for antibiotics to penetrate an area full of pus.

If you have: multiple, chronic boils - then it is likely that more than good hygiene is needed. I would get a formal medical evaluation to get to the cause of this.

Genetics: You probably have a condition called hidradenitis suppurative.  It is probably in your genes.  It is not something that you did.  It is a disorder of the apocrine
glands and can cause scarring.  Need good local hygiene,  weight reduction can help,  antiperspirant agents,  loose clothing, antibiotics such as tetracycline, 
intralesional steroids, propecia, (finasteride) biologic therapy, 
surgical excision

Can call Dr on video: Call to see if a clinic visit is needed. Most boils are treated with drainage of the pus inside. Antibiotics are sometimes, but not always, used after that. For boils that don't look like they are thin enough to lance through the skin, antibiotics may be used to stop the infection (then a surgeon can remove non-infected cysts at a later time). Ask Dr. if MRSA bacteria prevention might be needed.

 However it is puported  in some studies that cooking vegetable like tomatoes and carrots make antioxidants more available for absorption.Steaming or microwaving or roasting the vegetable is better than boiling them to mush.
