Not too early: Hcg doesn't start to rise until the fertilized egg implants into the uterus, usually about a week before the missed period. It's best to wait until at least the missed period to ensure that, if pregnant, HCG levels are high enough to be detected.

Hard to tell: Since you don't know when you ovulate if you ovulate at all, it's hard for me to tell how accurate your blood test is. At least it is accurate at that time. If you're in doubt over potential pregnancy, repeat it in 3 -4 weeks.

3 wks after sex: There is no need to rush. A pregnancy test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 wks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test isn't needed.

: If the period in "2.600" is not a comma, this level of HCG may be a very early pregnancy, but any positive level of HCG signifies implantation of a fertilized egg.  Followup levels will confirm the growth/progression of this pregnancy.

HCG: 10,000 units: The 10,000 units of HCG will stimulate ovulation, and will remain in your system for 7-10 days at least. If you do not have a period in three weeks after the shot, obtain a "quantitative" serum HCG test, and if elevated at that time will be positive for pregnancy.

??Pregnancy possible: Your period being late by  5 days could be a sign of pregnancy if your periods had been regular in the past. Usually urine and serum pregnancy tests are positive in 5 days.
