Other than wrinkling due to puckering of the lips and squinting, chronic exposure reduces your wound healing mechanism, reduces blood flow to the skin, and alters your skin much like sun damage.  There is also premature resorption of the bone, causing a flattening look.

More Than Skin Deep: Not very scientific.Your dad is lucky.Probably ate well and exercised. If not, really lucky. Nicotine constricts the very small blood vessels and the skin usually shows it.But who knows, maybe his heart has been affected and THAT won't show 'till he gets a heart attack. Maybe the kidneys. Maybe his eyes.Maybe other vessels.It has other effects too,like cancer and COPD.Now THAT will eventually show

I should not be negative though because the more negative approach one has the less likely they will be successful. External smoke is like cigarette smoke it's bad for your skin.

On the other hand thc seems to have some antiaging properties through being a antioxidant.

I am generally don't recommend a smoking because there a lot of complicated psychological effects.
