i have bronchits. just finished antibiotics and cortisone tablets. im still coughing but its a dry cough, voice seems to be going a little bit. i have some cepacol discs. is there anything else i can take to help alleviate the cough ?

For inflammatory or degenerative joint pathologies, depends on how bad the degeneration/inflammation is, how bad the pressure on the nerve is, what your "genetics" is with susceptibility to inflammation, how much daily stress the body area is subjected to.

Depends: It really depends on the condition being treated.  In general terms, cortisone injections relieve inflammation and pain.  Other modalities that can sometimes achieve this are: ice, oral medications such as Ibuprofen or steroids, rest, and splinting.  Physical or occupational therapy can also sometimes be helpful for musculoskeletal conditions and there is always surgery too.

Very rarely: Cortisone can rarely do this but the effects would be very short-lived. The anxiety is more likely related to the injection itself rather than what was injected.
