Reabsorbed in body: When a cyst ruptures. The fluid spills into your pelvis. It gets reabsorbed into your body. It will not effect a pregnancy test.

Less sensitive: Hormone levels tend to be lower with ectopic pregnancies so the home test will not turn postive as quickly. Ovarian cysts will have no effect.
