: Some vitamins, especially vitamin C are lost or partly lost in the process of cooking.

Accepted Answer

Not good or bad: It's the same as any other organ meat. It's high in fat and can increase cholesterol, so moderation is important. Remember, the liver is where all the hormones, additives and antibiotics are stored that are given to the animal to fatten it up prior to slaughter. Makes you think twice, doesn't it?

Yes.: No reason not to - in moderation. Make sure it is cooked well and do not indulge more than a couple of times per month.

: Why are you taking both? or any?   I would check CBC ( blood count) and iron stores to see if you are iron deficient and only take supplements if you are iron deficient  and on a doctor's advice. You can land up with too much iron in your body " hemochromatosis" and that is not good  Follow up with MD,

Accepted Answer

Yes: Yes, meat does not contain carbohydrates/sugars, so it does not raise the blood sugar.  It should also not affect the blood pressure.  Foods don't generally affect blood pressure like that.  Usually, if they do, it's due to a high amount of sodium in the diet rather than what a person is actually eating, so, in that case, switch to a salt substitute or cut out salt as much as possible.

See her doctor: Symptoms and concerns like these mandate a thorough evaluation by her doctor.  Only after such an evaluation, which may include labs and radiographic examinations, can he/she let you know what's going on and how best to help her.

: A borderline MCHC has to be interpreted cautiously in the context of symptoms and overall labs. The risk of treating isolated borderline abnormal unexplained lab values overweighs possible benefits ( improving a number).

Liver: I don't think what you're doing is unreasonable and I wouldn't worry about vitamin A toxicity. Be aware that too much organ meat ( like liver, kidney,sweetbread) ingestion is unhealthy because of high cholesterol content.

Nutrition:  A low inflammation diet like the Mediterranean diet is good for anyone.  It can't hurt to try it.  However, it should not be used to replace your treatment plan.

i am always in dull stomach pain on my lower left side of abdomen after i eat pizza, ground beef, and snack cakes. but in between the pain, i get really hungry on my lower left side of abdomen. i am 23 years old and had this since 2017. what is it?

: What you are describing sounds like a food allergy,  Keep an eating food diary for at least for 2 weeks prior to your PCP appointment to discuss what foods eaten may be related to your symptoms.
