Multipurpose SCL sol: Multipurpose solutions for soft contacts has ability to remove protein especially if mechanical rubbing front and back surfaces of contact prior to placing in case-- just be gentle. Catalyst based systems such as hydrogen peroxide cleaners need an activating tablet or disc and must be replaced per manufacturer  recommendation. All work well.

In general, no: In specific cases of strabismus (accommodative), correcting the prescription with glasses or contacts can reduce or eliminate the turn.

Dry eye: #1 issue is dry eye which leads to poor wet ability. 2nd is possible gpc allergy which needs assessment. 3rd..Old worn out rgp..May also look at newer rgp materials ; plasma coating. 4th insufficient cleaning system.

i have red eyes and it always reoccur. i always use daily contact lenses to prevent infection. am crew who hv to wear cl for long hours. advice?

Dry working place: By crew do you mean aircraft? If so, these are very dry atmospheres.  You should apply a syrupy drop like Systane or Refresh prior to entering the work place.  You can use ointment at night for sleep.  Some get a little extra relief from daily ingestion of 2 tablespoons of Flax Seed oil.  Do not use drops that say "gets the red out" as these are drying.  If these fail, then see an ophthalmologist.

i have a sore throat (only) but i'm pretty sure i'm catching cold. should i not wear contact lenses today to prevent them from getting infected?

No: If you have a cold, you have a cold. Wearing contact lenses won't make a difference.

how do i stop cloudy film from forming inside my contac lens? i have been wearing gas permeable contact lenses without any significant problems. in the last 6 months, everytime i put my contact lenses on- the right lens gets cloudy and it has a film over

This : This could be a fit issue where debris is being trapped.  It could also be the gpc as previously mentioned.  I also see similar issues with severe lid inflammation and contact lens use - make sure you are cleaning your eyelids very well each day.  I also feel patients that use make-up around the eyes need to be careful with contact lens use.  It is amazing the amount of make-up that makes its way into the tear film.

Contacts: Probably yes but please contact your eye doctor for certainty.

See a nephrologist: Need to quantify or measure the amount of protein lost in 24 hrs then check with primary doctor or a nephrologist if the amount is above normal.

do eating foods you are allergic to keep your body from absorbing dietary protein? i am allergic to beans and soy, but am trying to be a vegetarian. if i eat foods i am allergic to, do i get protein from them, or does my allergy prevent absorption?

It : It depends on what kind of allergic reactions you have to beans and soy.

The absorption of protein from foods may be affected by the allergic reactions that happen in the stomach and intestines depending on the severity of the allergic reactions. For a more severe reaction, the stomach and intestines are inflamed and are unable to digest and absorb the protein.

The common symptoms of food allergies to beans and soy are bloated stomach, cramp, gas and loose stool.

If your allergies to beans and soy do not involve stomach and intestines, then there will be no issue with protein absorption.

i have protein c & s deficiency in the first stages.  i am also 29 with brittle hair and nails.  is this related and can i prevent more breakage?

Unrelated: Please get your physicians to clarify what's meant by "protein c & s deficiency in the first stages." i'm familiar with both of these and they won't make your hair or nails brittle. I'm glad you're taking a proactive approach to your health & hope that the blood abnormality never proves seriously troublesome.
