You can't: There isn't medication to make your eyes look whiter although eye drops temporarily shrink blood vessels in the white part of your eye & make them look whiter. However, your symptoms will worsen if you use the drops on a regular basis. Certain cosmetics can also improve the appearance of your sclera, or the white part of your eye. If the eye is painful, yellow, or draining, see a doctor.

Not really: You should take care to protect your eyes from uv rays, however.  It will protect agains macular degeneration, and possibly against cataracts.  There are some conditions of the eye caused by excess sunlight and wind, like pingueculae or pterygia.  But once they are present, avoiding sunlight won't help.

Iris color: Is permanent.  The only way to change its appearance is to wear colored soft contact lenses.  There are several brands which can enhance the green color of your eyes or even change them to another color.

Brightening eyes: It is difficult to know what to recommend without seeing your eyes.  One good solution is to try latisse (bimatoprost).  That will give you longer, thicker and fuller lashes that will really help with the appearance of your eyes.  You will need to see your opthalmologist or cosmetic surgeon for an exam and to get a prescription.  In new york, you will then need to go to a pharmacy to by the latisse (bimatoprost).

Not yet: There are currently experimental treatments being performed to lighten eye color.  These are not yet FDA approved, or accepted by most ophthalmologists as the probability of developing significant side effects and possible visual loss is concerning.  I do not recommend considering this at this time.

Mean conjunctiva?: The white part of the eye is sclera.  It is covered by:  first a layer called tenon then the most superficial layer conjunctiva.  Swelling of the sclera is rare and more dangerous. Swelling of conjunctiva is called chemosis.  It can happen with allergy, trauma including post operation, infection, foreign bodies ; a number of other causes. If you suspect you have that you must see an eye md.

No red out drops: Do not use red out drops on a regular basis--these can actually make the redness much worse. I recommend wearing sunglasses with maximum uv protection, make sure you are getting enough sleep, avoid dusty/smoky environments, and use an artificial tear drop up to 4x per day.  Cold artificial tears can temporarily constrict blood vessels and make your eyes appear whiter.

No: This is most commonly seen in patient with high myopia.  The sclera is thin and the dark choroid is showing through it.

See below: Could be scleral icterus: a manifestation of jaundice. High blood levels of bilirubin due to liver or biliary disease can cause this. The underlying cause must be treated to clear the eyes. See your doctor asap.

Maybe: It depends on the cause of the redness.  If there is an underlying condition like dryness, blepharitis or allergies, usually treating the underlying cause will help with the redness.  Visine and clear-eyes over the counter are not recommended for prolonged use as it can cause you to become dependent and cause "rebound redness.".
