You can't : Tell by self examination. A woman ovulated 14 days prior to onset of her period so you have to keep track of your period and count the days to know. Count from the first day of one to the first day of the next. That is your cycle length. If it is 32 days count backwards 14 from 32 and that is your ovulation day . Assume you are fertile about 3 days before and 3 days after to be safe.

Female fertility (and to a lesser extent male fertility) declines with age at different speeds in different women.
