Yes: Although many women do not ovulate regularly while breast feeding, by 9 months, it would be very likely that a breastfeeding women would resume ovulation and would be fertile in the event of sexual intercourse.

: Ovulation levels for LH range from 6.5 to 101, as it varies between individuals. If the ovulation test was positive, a normal period will occur 14 days later, if not pregnant, whether nursing or not.

Ovulation: Yes even if you are breast feeding you may still ovulate. So watch for the usual signs of ovulation like rise in body temp after ovulation, changes in cervical fluid or discharge , it may be egg white, and position of cervix, it us soft , high , open and wet.

No: No. Not breast feeding. But after giving birth it can take a while for your HCG level (the pregnancy hormone measured in pregnancy tests) to return to 0. Taking a pregnancy test less than 8 weeks after giving birth is frequently positive. Check with your doctor if you are concerned. 2 blood tests two weeks apart  can determine if HCG level is going up (pregnant) or down (non pregnant).

Maybe: Breastfeeding should NEVER be considered adequate birth control if it matters. Some women do not ovulate for a time during breastfeeding and may put off menses for months. Menses can reflect estrogen stimulation without the ovulation produced hormone &amp; these are often heavier than normal. Some women can resume ovulation within a month or two even BF.

i have been on the paragard for 7months..i just recently stopped breastfeeding last week after 9 months.i had sex on my ovulation date i'm 5 days late?

Paragard: If I understand correctly you have Paragard now making pregnancy very unlikely. Also you just stooped breastfeeding so one would expect some menstrual cycle irregularity. If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy.
