See a doctor : Sometimes  extreme redness  may  seems suggest  roseace rather  than acne . Either   case  your will be able to decide best option. Some topical and oral antibiotics could be used.

Cover Up stick: Some people use a cover up stick to conceal discoloration from a pimple and apply their foundation over that.

pimples occur in hair follicles, not in pores.  so why is "non-comedogenic" (doesn't clog pores) makeup better for avoiding acne?

Pore around follicle: There are minute hairs at the pore opening. Oil glands come to the surface at pores and are associated with small hair follicles. Comedogenic products block the opening form the oil gland causing an accumulation of debris and eventually inflammation.

i have been recently breaking out with random patches of small whiteheads on the chin cheeks and forehead i have no idea what causes it i have cut soy don't wear makeup and i stopped using face washes that seemed to irritate what's going on ?

You don't understand: Acne is a dysfunction of your oil glands. See your dermatologist for treatment and evaluation because this way you will get a therapy that will make it go away completely.

Pimples: Alas, pimples are often part of a normal pregnancy.  Try to keep skin clean and dry; limit use of cosmetics. Use of over the counter acne medications containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide are safe and will reduce symptoms.

i am still in school, my acne has been bad for a long time. i deal with mostly blackheads, acne scars, bumps, and pimples. i have a very good, consistent skincare routine but my acne doesn't get better. i wear a lot of makeup every day?

: It is hard to determine whether you have had a nodulocystic acne from your description of facial  lesions.  If you do,  tretinoin therapy by dermatologist would be beneficial.

Medicated concealers: There are a number of medicated concealers that are over the counter.  Benzoyl peroxide is one medication found in some of these, and it's know to help treat acne lesions.

Treat, don't cover: I'm really sorry somebody told you that you simply had to cover it. Nothing works very well. You need to start managing your acne like a grown-up. If topical benzoyl peroxide has not cleared you in two weeks, get with your personal physician who can add prescription-strength Rx.

i need help with my acne! i have school tomorrow and can't wear makeup. anyway to cover it up without popping it or wearing makeup before tomorrow. in a healthy way, of course!

Acne: Soak green tea bag in ice water then apply bags to acne.  Do that a couple of times, then before bed apply 1% hydrocortisone cream to affected areas. Both help with inflammation temporarily.
