Depends: Early on there may be no effect. As the disease progresses undiagnosed, you may develop a change in bowels, blood in stool, abdominal pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, lethargy, loss of stamina, bowel obstruction, shortness of breath, anemia, early diagnosis in high risk patients or regular colonoscopies is the best way to avoid all of the above.

Many things: Untreated colon cancer can cause bleeding and anemia, weight loss, diarrhea or constipoation or complete blockage of your bowels, pain, eventually metastatic to liver, lung and bone and ultimately death.

See a doctor: Numerous test including ct scans and pet scans can determine if there is any evidence for metastatic disease. See your oncologist for the best advice.

Colon cancer: Is rarely if ever treated with radiation as opposed to rectal cancer which often is treated with radiation/chemo and surgery. Not sure what you mean by a "body cast" but to my knowledge one is not used.

It is treatable ...: At all stages ,though obviously more difficult the wide spread the disease.  But colon can may not have any symptoms early on in the disease.  That's why we do screening colonoscopies to help pick up concerning lesions as early as possible.  Otherwise early symptoms are usually hidden blood in your stool then obvious blood.  Obstruction can happen later on too.

Organ failure: Number and size of lesions does not determine terminal disease.  Many colon lesions recurr in mid abdomen as extensive lesions producing bowel obstruction.  Others present with multiple peritoneal seeding.  When end organ failure develops that can't be relieved by colostomy or liver replaced to produce jaundice that can't be relieved by stent then patient is entering terminal state.

No if it is: Localized to colon.  But if it spreads to liver, lung, bone, or brain, it can cause problems in these organ systems.

See a doctor: Best to see a doctor for a physical examination & possible blood tests. Longstanding "lumps" on the body may likely just be benign fatty lipomas. Unable to tell if a person could have a cancer without a physical examination, maybe endoscopy & colonoscopy. But you also seem quite young to worry about cancers.

See answer: Very sorry to hear this. I wasn't sure what question you were asking? Is he in hospice?If so contact them immediately for advice. Otherwise, If he is bleeding profusely he should be transported to an ER for evaluation.
