Very unusual: I would make sure to check your blood pressure first. It sounds as if you are having some vascular like symptoms that are difficult to attribute to any one source without additional information.

Diagnosis first: Hi, it’s hard to say without a picture but there is a great app that may be able to help you get a diagnosis without being seen in person by a dermatologist. Cortisone side effec: These symptoms are not unexpected after getting large doses of cortisone. You might even suffer from insomnia as well.  The effect is dose-dependent but should reduce with time. If you have  pain, redness, or increased swelling on the injected knee or a fever , you need to contact the doctor immediately to make sure that it is not infected.

i have been having random facial flushing (redness on face), im on metoprolol, losarton, atorvastatin, amitriptyline & blisovi fe 1/20 birth control and dealing with pkdcan any of them cause facial flushing? or why i would have it occurring?

: Flushed face is not a known side effect of the noted medications &amp; not a symptom of PKD; however, med side effect can't be ruled out. The temporal relationship between that symptom and the starting time of each medication may be helpful in defining the causal relationship and you should track that down. If sx is of recent onset &amp; meds have been used for months or years, meds aren't the culprit.

Prednisone: The use of corticosteroids in bronchitis may be problematic, and is a clinical judgement call by the doctor seeing you. It can cause your flushed face and  other potential complications. Since acute bronchitis is so seldom bacterial (&gt;95% viral) am not sure why you are being treated with antibiotics either. Yes, you might want to visit with your doctor or get a second opinion from another.

Facial flushing: Facial flushing can be due to intense emtions, such as anger or embrassment. Too much alcohol, caffeine, medicaions, including niacin, can cause it too. Medical conditions such as emphysema, carcinoid syndrome and mastocytosis can do that to you. If it’s happening without any identifiable causes, it would be a good idea to get checked by a doctor.
