i was on wellbutrin (bupropion) sr was switched to xl and now i have hot flashes, skin on face feels like it's burning and extreme skin crawling itching. ?

See your doc ASAP: Go back to your doc. Tho active ingredient is basically same in both meds, the way it is delivered is different (hence the difference in how long they last). Your body may just not like this version of drug. If you have difficulty breathing, swallowing or a visible rash stop taking the medicine. Hot flashes alone aren't an indication to stop. 
Was switch just for "new=better" or really needed?

Hot flashes: I would first start with your pharmacist who will try and help you with over-the-counter meds.
If that is not helpful please see your doctor.

my 10 yr old takes melatonin 1mg at ngt. he had it, 1 hr later hes having hot flashes. 
its not hot in his bdrm. said he doesnt feel good cause his head? feels hot....
can melatonin cause hot flashes in kids?

Likely unrelated: Melatonin's basic effect is to make one groggy. Any hot flashes he has is likely unrelated but feeling disoriented may be an effect.

Hot flashes: Possibly you went back too soon. I hope you saw a doctor while you were away from work. You must see your doctor now that you are not doing as well as you were.

Timing is everything: if these symptoms accompany your menstrual cycle at peaks in your estrogen levels, it could be understandable, but this sounds like something hormonal or allergic, that may be serious. I suggest you see your GP, get a referral for an endocrinologist, and get thyroid functions and other bloodwork done to find out if this is allergic, hormonal, or something else as a primary cause...allergist too?

Hot Falshes? why: Past head injury is not likely to be the cause of your present problem. At your(young) age there is no good reason to have hot flashes. But it can be a symptom of some metabolic disorder or stressful emotional problem. Therefore I would advise you to seek a medical evaluation by your internist or family physician so that they can check your overall health including your thyroid /metabolic health.

Unlikely: But it depends how bad the head injury was when you were younger and what issues you had afterwards (i.e. severe concussion with loss of consciousness, seizure/fainting spells, difficulty with memory/concentration, etc.)

Some can have medical implications, such as with thyroid problems, while others can have fertility repercussions, such as in premature ovarian failure. See a reproductive endocrinologist and get tested!
