Yes.  Continue.: Many times anemia develops so slowly that it does not cause symptoms.  But anemia could be assignor something more serious. So continue the treatments that are planned. Then you will need to follow up to make sure the anemia does not return.

More side effects : In addition to the other answer, muscle aches/breakdown and liver toxicity are rare side effects. Of note , many patients have taken statins for years without any problems.

in my routine gynaecological check-up last year a 1cm fibroid was detected and has since grown to 2cm. i'm not experiencing any adverse effects but i'm now wondering if i really have to wait for it to grow to get surgery. is there treatment?

Varies widely: For some fibroids grow very slowly over many years. For others they grow very quickly. There is no way to know how fast or slow your grew unless you had another sonogram at some other point in your life where you could compare the growth over time.

Monimal: It can cause lowering of HDL cholesterol, may worsen bone density if you're on it for over a year. If your testes are small, it may not work. Did you get genetic testing?

Not really: All medications used after an ischemic stroke (cholesterol plaque rupture causing an interruption in blood flow) are treated with blood thinners. Some people are more sensitive to certain ones, so if you've had a GI bleed while on Plavix (clopidogrel), (clopidogrel) then talk to your neurologist. Plavix (clopidogrel) is usually the best, but start with aspirin 182 mg daily. If you still have strokes, then Aggrenox is the next step up.

Tx: Remove stinger by scraping along edge of skin with a credit card.  Clean with soap & warm water.  Apply ice in 10 minute. Increments; alternating 10 on & 10 off.  Tylenol, (acetaminophen) Aspirin or Motrin for pain or Benadryl for swelling.  Make a paste of 2 parts baking soda & 1 part water & apply.   Or you can apply a meat tenderizer poultice to the area. Throat, airway or tongue  swelling – call 911.

Bee sting: This is normal and you can apply a topical steroid such as Hydrocortisone on the area to decrease the swelling and the itching.

Venomous insect: A honey bee is a type of venomous stinging insect. Allergy to it's sting can cause itching all over body), hives, swelling, difficulty breathing, coughing, wheezing, nausea/vomiting, low blood pressure, and passing out.  If you have ever had any of these symptoms after being stung, see an allergist for further evaluation. If itching or swelling just localized to sting - likely not allergy.

monitor for infection: ie increasing redness, increasing swelling, fevers, etc...
