Scarring: Due to trauma/ injury  a scar is formed by connective tissue  (new scar has many fibroblasts &amp; old scar is composed mainly of collagen) in the cervix (at lower end of uterus) or vulva (external genitalia).

Bartholin’s cyst?: It could be Bartholin’s cysts or abscesses. I would not recommend home remedy as that is fraught with serious challenges. Rather have proper treatment from your doctor please

Cyst: Could be a bartholin's gland cyst or infection - though the latter is really painful. Could also be an area that bled. You can try sitz bathes - sitting in a tub of warm water for 15+ minutes several times a day. If it's painful get seen. If it doesn't start getting smaller get seen.

HPV ?'s: Human papilloma virus (HPV) can cause both vulvar and cervical cell abnormalities, and in some strains, can lead to cancer in either. Since HPV is very contagious, it may occur on either the cervix or vulva at different times.  See your gyn for exam and biopsy to be certain.

Not really: That said, a woman in her late 20's would have been vaccinated against the more dangerous strains of genital HPV, right? We vaccinate all persons when they reach middle school age. If a person missed his or her vaccines, or only got the earlier vaccine versions that had fewer strains of protection, she can ask a primary care doctor about Gardasil-9 vaccine. The doctor can examine the vulva too.

Wart causing: low risk HPV sub-types seem to be more external, vulvar. The high risk sub-types more cervical, less external in nature.

Site specificity: HPV is a family of virus strains, each of which go to specific tissues. The common wart is a HPV strain but it only lives on normal surface skin. The HPV wart strains live in external genital skin, the HPV strains associated with cancer live in cervical, anal or occasionally throat tissue.

Cervical HSV: Herpes can infect the cervix  and can occur without external lesions or symptoms.

Interesting issue: I've been a position for over 20 years and have treated many thyroid patients. I've never heard of thyroid issues causing your symptoms. I would seek the opinion of another gynecologist. There are certain rare conditions such as Lichen  Planus that can do this.  Of course I am not saying that you have this but maybe another doctor  could figure out what is wrong with you.  Best of luck!
