Foamy urine: Foamy urine isn't usually due to any infection, including prostatitis. Changes in diet and fluid intake is the main reason urine is sometimes nore concentrated and potentially foamy.

Foamy urine: Don't discontinue the doxycycline without speaking to your physician. Foamy urine is usually caused by  large amounts of protein in the urine. In my experience prostatitis doesn't usually cause a lot of protein in the urine, but prostate cancer, certain kidney disease and many other medical diseases can. Have a urinalysis and microscopic examination of your urine as well as a culture&amp;See urologist

Sounds like an : Infection.  Get treated with antibiotics.  You might need to take them for a long time.  I am sure there is also a non-infection component too.  Follow your urologist's advice.  Good luck.

Probably not: It could be related to frequency of ejaculation. You might want to wait several days and see if there is improvement.

: Non bacterial diagnosis is a diagnosis of exclusion when the examination of the prostatic secretions grow no bacteria.. There is no blood or urine test for it. Yes people with it can lift heavy weights- even when seated - as that has no effect on the condition.
