It is unlikely: to get Transmission of an std with hands is  unlikely. However, one could potentially transmit infections if there were any kind of rash or open sores on the hands. A herpetic lesion on the hand would be an example.

i woke up this morning with what appears to be hives and not very itchy but a little bit . i tested negative for full std panel plus 4th generation hiv test at 6 months is this possible to miss any infections or is this no related and maybe anxiety ?

: It does not seem to be related to STD. It could be somethig be re;ated to an allergy and rarely anxiety. use local benadryl cream and if not better pl see your doc. Hope you feel better

when my hubs & i were trying for baby id itch, burn & get hives where his ejaculate touched me. internally & externally. no yis, utis, stds or latex allergies for us. no lube allergies, but i have many protein sensitivities. could this be another ?

: Allergy to semen is rare but it happens from time to time. Your prior allergic history makes it more likely. Given that history, perhaps you have an allergy specialist? Discuss with him or her. Good luck.

: To be sure you need to get a HIV nucleic acid test at 6 months after exposure.  Were you tested for gonorrhea, if not, it would be prudent to talk to your doctor about gonorrhea and chlamydia testing.

Probably no STD: Syphilis can cause a body-wide rash, but not hive-like and usually not itchy. If you think you're at risk for STDs, get tested. But an STD is not a likely cause of this rash. Most rashes like this are due to drug allergy -- which could include an STD drug if you're on treatment. In that case, contact the doctor treating you. Good luck!

Maybe not: There are several std's including gonorrhea and chlamydia that may not cause symptoms in some people.For that reason screening occasionally if you are sexually active is part of the realistic approach to sex. Both gonorrhea &amp; chlamydia can result in female sterility if not adequately treated.

Symptoms may include warts, ulcers, yellow or white vaginal/penile discharge, burning with urination, pelvic pain, bleeding between periods, testicular pain and  joint pain as well. Untreated infections can cause serious complications. Get tested.
