hello, im getting hives on my knees and elbows they are really itchy they are coming and going i also seem to have them on my ears.

Are they raised?: Hives are raised wheals and thus I wonder if your rash is really hives being confined to knees and elbows.  I suppose hives from pressure can occur at these pressure points but they are not itchy. Please provide info related to duration and appearance of these "hives". In general, it is really difficult to tell what they may be  without a picture and a more detailed description.

it started with hives then turned into psoriasis like lesions, on my knees and elbows. some say psoriasis some say scabies.family doesn't have lesions?

See doctor: The areas involved are not typical for scabies but skin rash needs to be examined for a diagnosis to be made and even then it may not be easy.

i woke up with hives 2 mornings in a row. on day 3, in the middle of the day, i have itchy red bumps on my elbows & knees. what could this be?

Sorry: You should see your dermatologist for treatment and evaluation. There are many diseases that could cause this.

i have a patch of bumps on my left and right arm between my antecubital and my elbow. they are really itchy and they come and go through out the day. i also get patches of itchy hives on my thighs and the sides of my knees. it all seems to be symmetrical.

Urticaria: Seems acute urticaria, may due to something you ate or exposed too or a medicine, or may be a pet, OTC antihistamines would help, start with the less sedating as loratadine or fexofenadine, don't drive if you feel drowsy,  avoid the cause of the rash if known, if no improvement see your doctor

i've been getting hives and red swollen spots on my wrists, hands, elbows, and knees after i started using whey protein powder. i do wanna keep drinking protein powder but i'm tired of having the itching welts and hives. i eat a benadryl every day

Urticaria: There's a lot of different formulations of protein powder out there.  You should look at the ingredients and try to use the one with least preservatives.  Hives on just wrists, elbows hands and knees sounds a bit odd..but anything can happen with the human body.  Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will only mask symptoms and make you drowsy.  Ask your friends if they are having any issues with their supplements as well.

Cold urticaria: Not rare.  Probably the best way to manage this is to take antihistamines prior to exposure to the cold.

Many causes: The cause for hives is often unknown but you may try taking oral antihistamine ( you may need to take 2-3 x the frequency recommended) and see if it helps. At 25 wks of pregnancy, most OTC antihistamines are considered safe.  (cat B).  If not effective, see your doctor.

See a dermatologist: Most likely it is just eczema.  Though there some other conditions which can cause similar symptoms.  For example, dermatitis herpetiformis.
