typically isolated hives, that is painful, itchy swollen,  burn, then bruise afterwards. normally on my forearms but now my neck and under my chin.

See a dermatologist: Dermographism? Other diagnosis? I can tell you have not been to a skin specialist because Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is useful mostly as a sleeping pill to be used only when you plan to sleep. You need a diagnosis and better treatment. If it is dermatitis you will benefit from prescription steroid cream. Meanwhile you can try otc Hydrocortisone cream. Zyrtec ( get generic) is effective for hives.

i've developed a rash on left forearm/ wrist, rt hand/ wrist, neck, back of neck, & slightly on ankles. looks like tiny blisters. i though hives?

yesterday in rom resting, started itching saw 2 big hives like bubbles on my back and one was small when i go to doctor they were normal hives he give a cream for allergic reaction, today they gone, new 1 small on arm,neck, just itches, is it spider?

: Spider bites or insect/ arthropod bites in general leave a mark, like a dot at the site of the bite.  Gives do not have that mark.  If what you have is hives, they may be caused by something you are eating, putting on your skin or side effect of medication you are taking.  Try to narrow down what might be causing them, so you can avoid the triggers.

Yes: Did you see the spider? This is something you need to seek medical attention for, doubt it was related to spider bite.

i took a clariton about an hour ago.  i am getting hives on my neck.  can i take benydryl?

Yes, but: Claritin (loratadine) is effective for hives (urticaria) but it may take more than an hour to see the good effects.  There is no harm in taking Benadryl (diphenhydramine) but realize that this antihistamine can cause drowsiness.  Some allergists will use higher than usual doses of Claritin for control of hives.

my son is having a strange skin reaction on his torso, neck and head.  it looks a bit like hives but doesn't itch.  what could it be?

Not enough info: Suggest asking for a dermatology consult with pictures.  one of many possibilities is angioedema.
