HIV : in general HIV virus requires bloody secretions to survive and chances to get virus transmission from non-bloody saliva is very very small. It also depends on a persons viral load, for example person with HIV but who is compliant with their medication regimen usually have very low viral load and may not be contagious at all

HIV and saliva: Saliva inhibits or kills HIV, which is one reason (but probably not the only reason) that oral exposure is low risk for HIV, whether to blood or other body fluids. For example, oral sex rarely transmits HIV.

Yes: your skin is an incredible "force field" to the environment.  Unfortunately, any break or crack in the skin may be a possible route of infection.  This is why it is very important to treat dry, cracked skin.

Yes. Get tested.: It is less likely to get HIV infection from oral sex but it is still possible.  You should get tested if you have any concern that you were exposed.  Stomach acid will kill the virus but it can enter through a mouth sore or membranes in your mouth.

Hiv-infected blood on intact skin does serve as a barrier of protection to prevent the entry of hiv.  However, in the mucosal surfaces, it is much easier for HIV to cause infection, especially if there are microscopic cuts/lacerations or ulcers in these areas.

No risk, no worries: Kissing never transmits HIV, or so rarely the risk can be ignored. (There litererrly are only 2-3 cases known in the whole world over the course of the 40 year HIV/AIDS epidemic.) Cuts in the mouth are very common, but still no cases. The amount of blood that might create a risk isn't known, but it would at least have to be a very large amount, with blood all over the place. Don't worry about it!

rare: Oral transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) by hiv-infected individuals is a rare event.  Don't know how long it would take for saliva to kill off the virus particles.  Although rare its still possible.  Best to get checked.  Talk with your doctor.
