Man up!: i would be very surprised if you have advanced HIV at age 19. However , you have a duty to yourself and your friends to be checked yearly like every other responsible young adult. Call your physician now. Your symptoms are due to something else.

Variable: The symptoms of HIV infection are variable. In late stages, most patients have fever, weight loss, lymph node enlargement, skin rashes, diarrhea, memory loss, weakness, multiple infections and may be tumors. See this site for more info.

Not HIV: The tests for HIV are among the most accurate diagnostic tests ever developed, for any medical condition. Therefore, test results always overrule symptoms, exposure history, or anything else. And of course weight loss, fatigue, etc are common to innumerable medical conditions besides HIV/AIDS (and HIV doesn't cause low testoserone). Your test results prove HIV is not the cause of these problems.

Both: Sores in the mouth are one of the main signs of initial HIV infection, along with flu-like symptoms (body aches, fever,  cough, etc).  But they also occur further along in the illness when the immune system becomes more suppressed.

Not recommended.: If you mean corticosteroid, large doses may make you euphoric or depressed but if taken for a long period will depress your defense further.  I think there are much safer and better alternative for you during the late stage of AIDS. Talk to your doctor about it.

Normal, need test: This is the second time you've asked a similar question. Most people with HIV look healthy even with a weak immune system. Sometimes there is weight loss, dry skin, and fatigue, but even with advanced AIDS, most people look fine. If you are worried someone you know might have HIV or is at risk, suggest testing. For sure do not judge a possible sex partner by appearance.

Sounds like: pharyngits; however, there must be a reason you are concerned about HIV. Unprotected sex, IV drugs, multiple unprotected sexual parners, previous STD history? If you are worried please get screen for ALL STDs- including hepatitis B and C. Condoms are a simple safeguard.

i have a risk of hiv 4 month ago. i have many many symptoms. i test hiv rna pcr at 8 weeks and hiv rapid test at 15weeks. all negative. but i've used corticoid for nasal for 4 months. so will my ab be produced late and the result change to positive?

Dont think so: I think you are negative now,but it might mean you are in the window period.  So, my advice will be to repeat your test in the next 6 months,but please do the Elisa Test(where they take your bloods to the lab).  if the results are negative,then you just need to continue with practising safe sex.  Nasal steroid is topical,and it does really affect your immune system.

You don&#x27;t have HIV: The HIV lab tests always overrule symptoms. If done long enough after last possible exposure (4-12 weeks), the tests are nearly perfect, whereas all symptoms of HIV are nonspecific, i.e. can be cased by innumerable other medical or psychological conditions. You can be 100% certain you don&#x27;t have HIV. See a doctor to work out the actual cause of your symptoms. Good luck
