i have asked this question previously didnt get the specific answer so i am asking again.i am not hairy however i have heard some cream/lotions cause excess body hair ( some ingredients in them which cause excess hair) please tell me in case you know?

Not by itself: Hirsuitism is not dangerous, but you may want to ask your doctor why.  For example, a hormonal or thyroid problem may need treatment.  Pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) is another example - the hirsuitism it can cause is not in itself dangerous, but associated findings like weight gain and high sugars are.  Ask your doctor; they may choose to run some tests to be sure.

Simple tests and rarely more elaborate tests are required to eliminate a more ominous cause. It can be treated with long term oral medication(s) and/or topical treatment(s).
