in january i started having groin and hip pain. i specialist sent me for an mri and the picked up i have bursitis and tendinitis. for the past few months i have experiencing discomfort in my left waist,especially when i sleep on my side?

Depends: It really depends on cause.  If it was from an injury or overuse, it should get better quickly; certainly by 4-6 weeks.  If there is something underlying that is causing it, then it may not get better until the cause is addressed.

Probably 12 weeks: After 6-8 weeks for the repair to occur after surgery, then you would require pt to overcome the weakness and to improve the strength of the muscles and increase range of motion over the next 4-6 weeks, and also to start weight bearing on the affected leg, .

what's a way to exercise my hip abductors?

Simple: Attache appropriate weights to ankle of leg to exercise with that leg adducted across the front of the other leg. Now, with knee fully extended, move the leg in a lateral or abducted motion at the hip. This is only one of many exercises to isolate the abductors using progressive resistant exercises. Also muscle confusion execises should be incorporated. Seek the help of a personal trainer.

Maybe fibromyalgia: When you have  this type of  non-inflammatory pain one must  consider  fibromyalgia. Many of the fibromyalgia tender points are  near bursitis and tendonitis locations your notation that you have  pain in various parts of your body suggests fibromyalgia.

: Bloating is usually a combination of the air you swallow when ingesting food or drink, carbonation released by carbonated drinks and gas created by germs feeding on digestive debris in the gut. Hip pain is usually structural involving the joint or muscle. I can't relate either of these to an ovarian issue. You could certainly have one, but I can't make either of these as clearly related.

Hip: If you are improving, this is probably a hip pointer which should resolve in 4 to 6 weeks. NSAID can help and Flexing hip. I would recommend evaluation if you are not getting pan free in a week or two.

See details: If your pain is the area of the groin it is more likely to be hip. Pain in the buttock or outside of the hip is likely to be back in origin.
