Congestion: Any over the counter anti-histamine/allergy medication such as loratadine (Claritin), cetirizine (Zyrtec) or levocetizine (Xyzal) can be taken for relief. If there is a lot of nasal drainage, you can also use fluticasone (Flonase) nasal spray, or similar steroid nasal sprays (Nasacort, Nasonex, Rhinocort). If the nasal passages feel blocked, try saline nasal rinses.

Prostate: Flomax (tamsulosin) is one treatment.  Please follow docs advice.  Some men use natural approaches such as saw palmetto or a formula called prostathera that has a group of prostate supportive nutrients in it. Mucinex (guaifenesin) safe: One must first be certain the "congestion" is not due to something serious such as congestive heart failure or pneumonia.  If it's not, then oral fluids, especially hot liquids, humidifier or hot, steamy shower, and citrus fruits can help.  Make sure blood pressure is kept below 130mm systolic; avoid salt; rest and tylenol (acetaminophen) can help.
