Spurious vs real: Need good history.  Decrease plasma volume or stress erythrocytosis would be spurious.
Secondary causes could include anything associated with tissue hypoxia ex. Chronic pulmonary disease.  Normal arterial po2 could mean increase carboxyhemoglobinemia 2nd to cigarette smoking.  Inappropriate increase ex renal disorders;ex renal cyst or ca. 
Primary cause; p. Vera bone marrow disorder.

Need actual results: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have helped to have the actual results. What you are calling high and low may not be meaningfully abnormal. It would be prudent to discuss the results with your doctor.

Thalassemia minor?: With normal packed cell volume, high red cell count, low MCV, I'd consider you may have thalassemia minor. This is good to know because if you marry someone else who has this, the children may have the very serious thalassemia major. Talk with your physician about this and what he/she thinks is actually going on.

I suggest you have a bone marrow study. This could represent a "Pre-Leukemic" state...not to scare you JUST an "idea" as you requested.  BY NO MEANS AM I MAKING A DIAGNOSIS  This situation is UNUSUAL and this is just a thought!

Is there any history of jaundice (yellowness) or of enlarged spleen.
Why was this group of tests done and what other tests were done?

All results: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have been helpful to have all the results and actual values of the results. One possibility is deficiency of iron and folic acid and/or B12.

Spherocytosis?: Are you anemic? Was a reticulocyte count done? What's the big picture? Labs mean nothing without it. If you're very close to your lab's reference range, it may mean nothing -- a few % of healthies fall outside. A low RDW would be a bit of a surprise in classic spherocytosis.

Anemia: Anemia is defined by a hemoglobin or hematocrit below "normal"  Normal is specific to age and sex.  Borderline low is still normal. High MCV could indicate folate (folic acid) or B12 deficiency, but this is not supported by low MCHC which might be seen with iron deficiency (which would actually cause the MCV to be low). All in all this then appears to be a normal variant - consider repeating in a few months.

"Mild anemia?": Being "mildly anemic" is like being "a little bit pregnant." You need to find the cause. If this is thalassemia minor, you need to know before you marry someone else who has it and have a child with an unexpected grave birth defect. If this is "mild iron deficiency", the cause needs to be found -- anything from heavy monthly losses to ill-advised vegetarianism to a bleeding ulcer or tumor.
