Accepted Answer

Yes but: The diagnosis of a disease depends on the symptoms and physical findings. Tests are mostly used to confirm the diagnosis or assess the disease activity.  If you do have very high IgG and persistently elevated eos ( your are more compatible with allergic rhinitis and asthma) but are otherwise healthy, just monitoring would be sufficient.

: I'm used to seeing IgG expressed in mg/dl &amp; not by %. Increased immature granulocytes occuri in infections and in leukemia. Spontaneous pneumothorax can be seen in smokers and in autoimmune disorders. Elevated IgG also occurs in autoimmune disorders. Your physician or specialists, who know your clinical findings, are best qualified to put all this information together for you.

Not likely HCV: It would be very unusual for active hcv infection to cause immature wbc.  Anemia definitely is seen in active hepatitis or with advanced liver disease.  If not a reaction to an acute infection or inflammation,  immature granulocytes usually point to a bone marrow issue.

routine blood test. it showed high #mono (.8), normal %mono (8%), high #ig (.04), high total bili (1.3) &an anion gap of 15.. everything else normal. i eat pretty well & drink only water (a lot). urine ph was 6. should i be worried? stress related?

No: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, there is nothing to be concerned about the information you provided.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

There's nothing to worry about if your values are a little bit above the normal range, but a very elevated IgM could be a sign of a problem. You need to check with the physician who ordered the tests to interpret your results.

The significance of the specific values for you depends on what your clinical problem is. Therefore, i can not be more specific as to what it means for you.

just had a cbc done and there is one under autodiff called ig%.  what is this ?  mine is high at 1.3  no appt wiht doc until feb.  thanks.

IG%: This is a count that new machines deliver -- immature granulocytes. The counting of these young "child soldiers" has always been fraught with difficulty. If you feel okay, i wouldn't give an ig% of 1.3 another thought.

Deficiency: The child must have an immunodeficiency but not necessarily immunoglobulons if the levels are normal, consult an immunologist, preferrably ina tertiary center such as duke in nc.

No.: The high WCC is not normal. Nor is the low ig%&amp;#.

Do you take treatment for PA?  Pernicious Anemia I assume? `PA usually has a low white count

i have constant allergy which causes alot of sneezing and blocked itchy nose since alot of years. doctor asked me to do an ig e test that came out quite high, he is suggesting me to take xolair injection should i go for it because i am confused?
