No: This may sound crazy, but a pregnancy test that is positive is a great indicator of pregnancy.  Wait about 5-6 days and if your period hasn't come yet get a pregnancy test.

Yes: Your cervix can produce a large amount of mucus depending on your cycle. If you notice a foul smell, thick pearly discharge, or brown discharge you should seek treatment. If your period does not come or is irregular take a pregnancy test. Consider getting a gardisil vaccination to protect your cervix from human papilloma virus which is sexuality transmitted and causes cervical cancer

Don't: I recommend against checking your cervix: it's hard to do accurately yourself and doesn't actually tell you anything useful about your cycle. Beware of message board advice.  It certainly does not tell you if you are pregnant. Good wishes.

Its ok: Periods vary every month and can be early/late by a few days. If you have a negative pregnancy test at this time, your odds of pregnancy are low. If you dont have a period in 1 week repeat the pregnancy test.

Maybe...: Keep it simple - do a pregnancy test! most urine pregnancy tests will be positive a few days before a missed period...So go check!

Could be normal: It's not terribly unusual to have occasional irregularity in bleeding cycles.  I wouldn't worry if this is a rare event.   I suspect your regular cycle will occur soon.

Open &amp; shut answer: This a a "hard" question to answer without context of more information to determine why you are concerned if the cervix is 'open" or not. Pregnancy generally softens the cervix, and open versus closed cervix is relevant at the end of pregnancy prior to labor not ovulation.

Might be normal.: Leukorrhea is normal vaginal discharge (D/C).  D/C is composed of cellular debris, vaginal secretions &amp; bacteria &amp; is stimulated by ^ vaginal blood flow &amp; ^ estrogen.  D/C ^ is seen w ovulation (Clear &amp; like uncooked egg whites), Clear/watery or white d/c both occur during menstrual cycle.&amp; pregnancy (white/ milky). Yes: During your period the cervical opening will enlarge, and the cervix will soften a bit, often it is a bit more soft and filled with blood in its vessels. 
Between your periods, specifically before your period, more blood is going to the lining of the uterus so less blood is going to the cervix, making it harder and therefore sitting a bit higher.
