: Hiccups and Burping are a form of Gas Pressure relief mechanism for the stomach, especially if it is full with Food and/ or Drinks. Air swallowing (Aerophagia) due to Habit, Anxiety, Stress and /or Emotional Excitement,;... can also cause hiccups &amp; burping.  No, they are not dangerous but if One is a Smoker, that might be an encouragement to stop.

Burp and hiccup. : This may not necessarily be a problem, but it could be indicative of the fact that there is some diagnosable issue that needs to be identified. Once identified, maybe it could be treated.

: His prescriber should be made aware as it probably has to do with the reason for why Dexamethasone was recommended, hiccups may be refractory and a potential cause will be needed in determining possible treatment.

Yes: 75 to 80% of patients wih d.fragilis have resolution of their symptoms by taking a course of metronidazole even though half of those will still have evidence of the organism in their gut. Side effects include  nausea, diarrhea, weight loss, abdominal pain, vomiting, headache, dizziness, metallic taste, and others. It is one drug that will truely make you sick if you drink ANY alcohol while taking.

REFLUX: can and often does occur even with an empty stomach  You may a HIATUS HERNIA in addition to the reflux (commonly associated)

i am on trt and have been prescribed nandrolone for my joints. i have been experiencing excessive burping and hiccuping. ive had many different different gi tests done. everything is normal. is it possible one of those compounds are causing this?

Possibly: Nandrolone  has been known to cause gastrointestinal side effects and liver problems even though it's administered by injection. Is your nandrolone prescribed in addition to other testosterone replacement therapy? If so, it's quite similar to testosterone and perhaps you're not tolerating both compounds given simultaneously. Discuss this with your MD.Your pharmacist can give you more information.
