Any : Any stress on the body (group b strep infection in your case) can trigger a herpes outbreak. As far as passing herpes through the saliva with no outbreak, it is possibile but not very likely. A person is most contagious right before, during, and immediately after an outbreak. Research has shown that low levels of the virus can be detected at times other than stated previously, however like i stated previously the risk of transmission during this time is extremely low. On the other hand group b strep is very contagious, and you should avoid any intimate contact or sharing drinks, etc, until at least a week or so after you finish the antibiotics, 
take good care.

Oral sex: herpes ?'s: Oral and genital herpes are different immunologic varients, but are both transmitted by genital or oral contact with the virus.  If you did not have an actual outbreak, virus is still communicable. Whether oral or genital (Herpes I or II) the transmission of either is possible by saliva via a mucus membrane contact.

Herpes: The answer is cold sores are real herpes. They used to be specifically herpes virus type 1 but now that there is a lot of oral sexual activity, the type 1 and type 2 dont necessarily follow the above the waist below the waist rule.

Herpes? Canker?: Of course you should always wash your hands after contacting your mouth. However, a sore inside the mouth is much more likely to be a canker sore, not herpes. (Don't confuse canker sore with cold sore. Different problems, different causes.) If you do have oral herpes, it is extremely unlikely you can infect a new body area. You are immune to new infection with the same HSV type you already have.

Unlikely by saliva: Your question isn't clear. Have you been diagnosed with genital herpes? If so, is it for sure a new infection? Apparently new herpes often is actually recurrence of a longstanding infection that previously was asymptomatic. Presumably "penetrated" but "no sex" means fingering? HSV1, the cause of oral herpes, can be transmitted by oral sex, but uncommonly by saliva and rarely if ever by fingering.
