Herpes simplex: The outbreaks most commonly occur in the site of initial inoculation of the virus, but other areas can be involved. Lesions on the legs would be quite unusual but anything is possible, even when dramatically unlikely.

Ingrown hair: A bump in a hair-bearing area can be an "ingrown-hair" or cyst. They usually show a tender bump that could be red in color.

Possible &amp; unlikely: Herpes seldom recurs outside the area in which you had the initial outbreak. It is extremely painful and tender and presents initially as a blister-like lesion. This sounds like it is something else. Show it to a doctor. Good luck.

7 days after protected sex and unprotected oral. i have a small red area where my leg & groin area meet. no bumps, is this from underwear or herpes???

Red area: Its more likely a skin yeast  if its in this area.  Herpes would have blisters showing up.  In the middle of winter and during swimming season we see a fair amount of tinea (yeast) infections near the underwear line.  Try some lotrimin (clotrimazole) and see if that helps.

i had protected sex (condom) and unprotected oral 8 days ago. now i noticed a red area between my leg and groin. no bumps just red. herpes?

Probably not herpes: Herpes doesn't behave like this -- both the type of rash and location are wrong. This sounds more like jock itch or a superficial bacterial infection, or just irritation from sweat, body secretions, etc.  See a doctor if it doesn't clear up or you remain concerned, but I'm sure this is no STD or any other infection from the recent sexual exposure.

i have what looks like stretch marks by my scrotum and leg. i had protected sex and a week ago. herpes? no bumps just red line-like rash.

Not herpes: For sure this isn't herpes. Almost certainly it is no STD of any kind, and probably not from your recent sexual exposure. But see a doctor if you remain concerned.

Folliculitis: The most common explanation for scattered self-limiting minute pustules is infected skin pores.  An antibacterial soap, avoidance of scratching and scrupulously cleaned fingernails are useful to prevent skin infections.

Follow science: It could be wrong but i would review the the culture. Bumps on genitals are more likely to be herpes. If the treatment for the virus cures the bumps then it is probably not bacterial.

See your doctor: The only way to know for sure is to be examined and tested for STDs. You should do this as soon as possible and refrain from intercourse until you know for sure and any infections have been treated. Good luck.
