: Cancer would be near the bottom of my list for abnormal vaginal bleeding. It does happen, bur there are many other conditions that produce this symptom &amp; most are simple &amp; treatable. It is good to be concerned but more helpful if you are supportive. She needs your patience/support &amp; possibly extra help doing chores until she gets this sorted out.

Could be many things: See your gyn tomorrow for an evaluation as you want to r/o pregnancy, assuming that is neg, your hormones could be out of balance or you may have a problems with your uterus and you may have a vaginal infection, so your gyn can do an exam, blood work, vaginal cultures and an ultrasound to see what the problem is.
