Age of daughter: In infants& toddlers vaginal bleeding can mean trauma, retained foreign body or rarely a uterine problem (i've seen cancer in the age group). If hard to localize specificly to the vagina, a kidney stone could produce enough blood to think it comes from the vagina. In pubertal teens, they often have wide variations in their frequency, duration & amount of flow the first year & might later.
