Slightly increased: Hepatitis c is only rarely transmitted via sexual contact. But, sores such as herpes or syphilis can increase the transmission. Condoms might help protect against transmission. If you are concerned it is important to be tested.

No: If you already have hepatitis c infection, herpes outbreaks will likely not be more frequent or last longer.  And, there is no evidence that herpes makes the scarring with hepatitis c worse. Each should be evaluated on their own.

Liver Cancer: Not everyone with hepatitis c will get liver cancer or cirrhosis. Alcohol and hep c are a bad combination. Mickey mantle likely developed cirrhosis and liver cancer from this combination. If you do have hep c, you should see a doctor.

Hepatitis b and c are distinct viruses that can infect and damage the liver.  Infections are not caused by other kinds of illnesses but by the very bugs they are named after.
