In the case of Hep C it may take a few weeks from the time of infection to the time when the body makes antibodies. If you are concerned about have been exposed to Hep C, you may wish to repeat the test in about 6 months.

You don't have hep C: I am assuming your hepatitis C (HCV) antibody came back positive, but the HCV viral load was undetectable which is the confirmatory test, hence when the HCV viral load is negative = false positive hepatitis C test which we see sometimes.

No: You are not dying.  Reactive level does not indicate active disease, just past exposure.  Need viral level and genotype checked. Treatment includes ribavirin, interferon, and telapravir / bocepravir depending on genotype.

Good news: If the supplemental test was the riba test, it means that the screen was a false positive. If the supplemental test was a hcv rt-pcr (viral load), you could have been truly infected but cleared the virus from the blood and probably the liver as well.  Either way, things are ok.
