hi i have hep c i just got lab results my alt and ast are normal they was high what that means am i better?

Hep C: Liver funtion tests may go up and down, what is really necessary to know is how high is the hep c viral load, or does the liver has sign of cirrhosis, is the hep c  one of the genotypes that can be easly treated ? Some people who are infected with hep c get rid of the virus spontaneously therefore will have an undetected viral load and normal lft also. Ask doctor to check viral load.

Can happen quickly: Even at your young age, extensive alcohol consumption can sicken the liver to the point of cirrhosis even in a very short span of time (like 7 years).  Moderation and potentially complete abstinence may be your only hope to prevent this serious condition.  Good luck.

if your sgpt and sgot whatever the 2 liver things show on cbc, were once high and now are normal, i have hep c , does that mean that they recovered?

Possibly: What did your fibroscan show? Please stop all advil and ibuprofen which are hard on the liver like alcohol and follow up with your physician for a hepatologist referral(GI specialist) if you qualify for Hep C treatment. Of course, no sharing needles or razors and condom use to prevent spread is also important.

Anemia: This sounds like the anemia of chronic disease, which would fit in a person with chronic hepatitis C. My advice is to be treated for the Hep C, which is now in many cases quite curable. Good luck.

Can we Rx hep C?: If your hepatitis c can be treated / managed, the cirrhosis is likely to regress some. You'd be doing yourself a favor. If the gallstone is in the gall-bladder & not an issue, you may consider leaving it alone. Talk with your physician about whether your hepatitis c might be infectious to any partner. Be strong and stay proactive.

Need more info: High levels of what?  The best way to determine if Hepatitis C has returned would be by testing your blood for hepatitis C viral load.

hep c anti algorithm test was reactive, but did not show s/co ratio. nurse claims it's "high reactive" but could not give the cutoff value. all labs have a s/co value why did this not. was the nurse incorrect? she just said it was high w/o a ratio?

Does not add up: There is no Hep c anti algorithm test. If you got the actual test result, it should have the name and contact information of the laboratory that did the test and you may wish to contact the laboratory for an explanation.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Not by itself: Mild elevations in granulocytes are common. A cold water swim can raise to double-normal easily. Look for some other cause, or if it's mild and the granulocytes are well formed, don't worry.

Don't worry: A change  from 0.1 to 0.2 when the normal range is .1-.9 is normal and an insignificant change.

: There are excellent and effective treatments for Hep C. See a doctor and ask about treatment. Many doctor will not treat someone who is at risk of re infection like someone who is taking drugs.
