Hemorrhoids - herpes: A hemorrhoid is an enlarged vein at the anus or in the lower rectum. Internal hemorrhoids are deep to the anus. External hemorrhoids are outside of the anus.  A hemorrhoid is a bump that can cause pain, bleeding ; may  itch. Local symptoms from herpes simplex 2 infection consist of a cluster of lesions that look like blisters. The lesions can coalesce followed by crusting over.

Infection vs veins: Hemorrhoids are dilated veins at the anus. Sort of analogous to varicose veins. Anal herpes would be an infection with a form of herpes virus.

Examination: This can be a number of differnt issues ranging from infection , abscess, skin tags  or std. I recommned a full pelic and rectal exmation, safe sex, in fact, abstain sexually until you have been screened for all stds.
Do not ignore this issue and get a full gyn evaluation.

Possible but slight: virsuses can live outside the body for short period of time (like seconds, most article say &lt; 10 seconds, ) but longer in damp conditions. So, very unlikely unless your friend had just used the medication.

i've noticed white bumps around my anus and im  concerned that they could be either gential herpes or genital warts, however after closer inspection i realized i have a hemorrhoid. could these white bumps be somehow related to the hemorrhoid?

Anal bumps: Tiny white bumps around the anus are likely warts, herpetic lesions, or molluscum contagiosum.  There are other possibilities also.  Hemorrhoids are going to be located right at the anal margin and can be skin colored or darkened if they are painful and filled with blood clots.

how do i know the difference between external hemorrhoids and anal herpes? i do not do anything sexual around my buttocks and i do rough bowel movements that result in bloody stool and a little burn when i shower?

: It's difficult to differentiate with just those symptoms because you can have both. You can look at your anus and perianal area with a mirror and tell us what you see so we may be able to say what it is or you can google for the images of external hemorrhoid and herpes lesion and you can see the difference.
Perianal herpes may occur without history of anal sex.

Nope: Hemorrhoid cream will do absolutely nothing for herpes. These two look very different. Herpes is open sores where hemorrhoids are dilated veins. Google some pictures and compare.

Herpes treatment: Herpes outbreaks respond best to aciclovir and similar medicines, but these are usually only prescribed for severe or frequent flares. Although haemorrhoid cream is unlikely to cause harm , it's not very likely to help. A simple emollient may relieve discomfort and help healing

just noticed a clear fluid blister on my anus , ive haemorrhoids since 7-8 years. this blister is on top of the haemorrhoids. little itch ,pain and discomfort, can this be a herpes blister ? only one blister?

: If you had no rectal/ anal exposure then it is not. Try sitz baths for a few days- if not better pl see your doc

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
